Poetry and Paint

For the past couple of months, Matt and I have been helping his wonderful and talented mother Denise Fontaine-Pincince with her first publication. She's a poet and a mixed-media artist. The collection in the book, with the title and motif "Laundry," couples each poem (derived from a true-life story) with a piece of her scrumptious recycled art.

She had her first show in Ware two weeks ago, selling several of the paintings and donating 100% of the proceeds to CARE. She also sold a number of books, and with our help launched her website:
